Kevin Sailor, President and CEO – Executive Recruiter
Kevin Sailor is the President & CEO of Financial Recruiters International. Kevin spent 20 years in the Mortgage and finance industry. He has started multiple companies including 2 mortgage companies, and now focused solely on Financial Recruiters International, and Alexander Raymond. He sold his mortgage companies and moved into recruiting after the mortgage meltdown of 2008. His 20+ years in financial services allows our company to be a powerful player in our niche area. He is passionate and dedicated to helping financial services firms and professionals to build the very best teams possible. He uses a polite yet aggressive approach to help his clients achieve their goals. He has an exceptional EQ when it comes to recruiting and matching.
Kevin was born and raised in Northern California until he moved to St. Louis Missouri in 2011 to marry his wife, Julia. Together they have 7 children, 2 birds, and a rescue cat named Mike. Kevin enjoys mountain biking, and also rides E-bikes with Julia, enjoys time outdoors, and spending time with his family.
Greg McDowell, Executive Search Team Lead
Greg McDowell is an Executive Search Team Lead at Financial Recruiters International. Greg’s favorite part of his job is changing people’s lives through his work. He uses his strong work ethic and a deep sense of empathy to create long-lasting relationships with both Clients and Candidates alike. He has been a recruiter for almost 20 years and brings a vast array of knowledge and skill with him. Before recruiting, Greg was in the banking industry for 12 years.
Greg is originally from Central Illinois, but he and his wife, Jolene, settled in the Saint Louis area. He is a proud father and grandfather to his son and two grandsons. Greg also has 2 rescue cats, Zeke and George. Greg enjoys music, sports, live entertainment, and travel. Greg also likes spending time with his family and going to church.
Denise Decker, Executive Search Team Lead
Denise Decker was the first recruiter added to the Financial Recruiters International team. She loves helping people advance in their careers and helping amazing firms acquire the best talent. She is great at communicating and relating to people and is dedicated to the recruiting process. This includes matching, navigating, and negotiating for all parties involved. Previously, she worked in investment real estate for 27 years. She retired from Delta airlines in 2021 after 14 years. 2 days later she was hired as a recruiter and absolutely loves it!
Denise is a former military brat, moving around a lot in her childhood. She settled down in Florida and has been there for 48 years. Denise and her husband, Darrell, have two daughters and a granddaughter. She also has two rescue dogs, Gracie and Goose. She loves spending time with her family, going to the beach, boating, and volunteering at her church.
Christie Burgess, Executive Search Team Lead
Christie Burgess is an Executive Search Team Lead at Financial Recruiters International. She has dedicated her entire career to cultivating enduring relationships with clients and placing candidates in career positions. She excels in resolving complex hiring challenges, consistently achieving mutual success in her endeavors. While her expertise spans multiple industries, she currently specializes in Fiduciary Services and Insurance.
Drawing from her rich background, Christie spent six years in corporate HR as a Talent Acquisition Manager, where she established comprehensive processes and procedures for the corporate setting. Christie grew up in Bakersfield, CA and moved to Los Angeles after college where she spent nearly a decade as an Executive Producer in the Television Industry.
Upon settling in Missouri in 2012, she smoothly transitioned her career to Executive Recruiting.
In 2015, Christie married the love of her life, Matt, and they have a 6-year-old son, Easton, 4-year-old son, Lincoln, and a precious dog named Anya. Together, they enjoy spending time outdoors and time with family.
Daniel Jimenez, Executive Recruiter
Daniel Jimenez is a Senior Executive Recruiter who specializes in connecting top talent in wealth management, trust, and private banking with leading financial institutions across the U.S. and Latin America. With nearly two decades of experience in executive search and client management, Daniel has successfully recruited C-level leaders, wealth managers, trust officers, and technical professionals for firms ranging from RIAs to global consumer brands.
His broad international exposure—having lived and worked in Costa Rica, the United States, Spain, and the Dominican Republic—has shaped his global approach to recruitment and business. Daniel brings deep cultural fluency and a consultative mindset that allow him to connect meaningfully with both clients and candidates across borders.
Daniel was born in Costa Rica and currently resides in San José. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer, and building relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
Cody Newton, Executive Recruiter
Cody is an Executive Recruiter at Financial Recruiters International, bringing over a decade of experience in the financial services industry to every search. Prior to transitioning into executive recruiting, Cody built a strong foundation working in Investment Banking in New York City and Private Equity in San Francisco, gaining firsthand insight into the demands, pace, and expectations of high-performing financial organizations.
Cody’s background allows him to partner closely with clients and candidates, offering a nuanced understanding of both technical requirements and cultural fit. Known for a thoughtful, relationship-driven approach, Cody is committed to delivering exceptional talent solutions and helping professionals navigate critical career decisions within the financial services sector.
Originally from Connecticut, Cody now resides in St. Louis. Outside of work, Cody enjoys spending time with his Bernedoodle, Tux, golfing whenever possible, and being in or around the ocean.
